We have been busy at the Farmhouse this week.  We did make the best of our snow days.  The older two and I spent the afternoon bedazzling, as I like to say, some very plain pine cones.  I got the idea from my friend Mandy at Crafty Southern Mama!  If you get a chance check out her blog, it is FABULOUS!  I could not convince the kids to do all one color, like Mandy’s, so we added some red and I was quite pleased with the results.
Here are some pics from our pine cone craft:

Peace Sign Polo

I have been working on some goodies for the kids this week. Two shirts for E and treat bags for all three kids to hand out at school.
First I added a peace sign to a simple white polo for E! I was so happy to do this because I thought my days of cute applique shirts were over for her. She is 9 going on 16. Continue Reading »

I am in the process of photographing and uploading some pics for all my friends who are not on facebook. I am ready to take orders for Christmas cards and labels (for gifts and return address).  Wouldn’t you love to have cards checked off your list before you eat Thanksgiving dinner?   Check back this evening for some ideas!

Don’t forget I love to do bibs, burp cloths, onesies and more. I LOVE to make each one especially for you. I love exploring new fabrics and trims.

Hopefully, once the kids are back in school after Fall Break, I am going to attempt some new items; lovies, handmade burp and bib sets and maybe even a few other surprises along the way.
Thanks for stopping by…..
