Not a blogger…

If I had to make a living as a blogger, we would be in trouble.

The 25+ sweatshirts that I mentioned in the last post ended up being about 35-40!  Plus, some shirts, scarves and then my own gifts to finish.  To say this Christmas season was busy is an understatement.  Remarkably I managed to get everything done and we had a great Christmas.  Now I am looking forward to a busier 2012!

Here are a few pics of some of the latest projects I finished.

Wildcat Hoodie

Bathing Suit Cover

Bow Tie Onesie

Lawson 4th Birthday Shirt

Scarves

This is just a small sampling of the things I have done over the past two months.  If you need any baby gifts, burp cloths, bibs, onesies, t-shirts, sweatshirts, scarves, blankets, hoodies or something else just let me know.

Coming in the next two weeks, gingham shortalls and shorts!  I can’t wait.

By the way, in case you were wondering, there is still some painting left to do in my kitchen.  6 months later…..

Still Sewing.

Has it really been since April?  Awful, I know.

First it was the end of the school year.  Crazy!

Then summer with multiple camps for three kids AND I decided to do a mini kitchen renovation.  Sounds easy enough but it is still not completely done, FOUR months later.  But, I did go from this:

Kitchen "Before"

To this (not the total finished picture, ignore the mess):

Kitchen "after"

Then the school year started and lots of sewing followed.   Which included LOTS of Gator themed shirts for teachers at Gladeville Elementary where my oldest two attend school.   For even more pictures check out my photos on my facebook page.

So, I have been busy and not updating my blog.  I LOVE to waste time reading other blogs AND browsing pinterest.   But, actually taking the time to update and take care of my own blog is comical.

Next up 25+ sweatshirts, 8 Christmas shirts and many other odds and ends to get done before the craziness of Christmas hits.  I have actually started shopping and my cards are DONE so I am ahead of the game, for now.

Stay tuned for more Christmas goodies!

Thanks for the LOVE!

Thank you to everyone for all the likes and support on facebook.  What had been a little idea with some sewing here and there has now turned into my sewing almost every day.  Here are a few pics of what I have been sewing over the past few days:

Lots of sippy cups

Burps and a bib for Liam

Onesie and Bib for Charlotte

Tie shirt and onesie for Triston and James

Gator Onesies for the littlest Gators at Gladeville Elementary

As you can see the sewing machine has been busy!  This is only a few pictures of the many items I have done over the past two weeks.  If you want to see EVERYTHING I have done recently check out Gladeville Farmhouse on Facebook.  You do not have to have a facebook account to view my page.  I am presently working to get the shopping cart working on my facebook page, but for right now if you see something you like email me at gladevillefarmhouse@comcast.net

In case you were wondering we still have the chickens.  24 of them to be exact and they are getting big!  One day last week we had some friends stop by and we decided to get them out so they could enjoy the fresh air.  This little chick decided she wanted to perch herself on my leg.  I am amazed at how quickly they are growing, like WEEDS.  Two weeks ago they were little balls of fluff and now they have a ton of feathers and are not nearly as cute as they were.

I did not drop off the face of the earth.  Just the blog side of it.  I honestly cannot keep up with sewing, facebook, blog, twitter, laundry, the house, cooking and three kids.  So, to all of you who do it all and do it well my hat is off to you!

Anyway, I have still been sewing off and on just not documenting on here.  So, here are some of my latest creations:

Baseball Diamond Shirt for a little brother!

Make sure to check out my facebook page for more!  Did I mention we are now the proud owner of 25, now we are down to 24, baby chickens?  I am sure I will have some adventures to share on raising chickens, stay tuned.  For now, here is a picture of Emma with a baby chick sitting on her chest.
